My husband and I just saw and fell in love with "The Matador." Pierce Brosnan is an aging assassin on the edge of a nervous breakdown and Greg Kinnear is the suburban everyman who stumbles upon him in Mexico. It's funny and touching and a wee bit raunchy in spots and ultimately uplifting. Brosnan is hysterical in a role that spoofs his sophisticated image and yet has just enough humanity to keep it from being falling into farce. The two guys are perfect foils. We found it great fun.

I would recommend 'Tristram Shandy: A **** & Bull Story' with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan - just out on DVD.

If you mentioned a couple of recent films you liked it might help people with recommendations.

Knowing you stylinsam you're up for a bit of a laugh I'd recomend The ringer out yesterday. And oh my god Johnny Knoxville is in it :-) mmmmmmm
