He died in 1988! Quite a while ago now! He fell of a horse whilst making the film The Three Musketeers.

Thank you all for your interest. I was at a function last week when the speaker, a writer, mentioned that Roy had died, and as I was unaware that that had happened I thought I would find out for sure. I can remember him, but only vaguely.
