Thats funny - I was only talking to the b/f last night about this!Haven't seen it but we were laughing at the title!!

I mean can you imagine the directors etc all sat round a table thinking of what to call it -
" Well,its got snakes,and there's a plane - hey! Lets call it Snakes On A Plane"!!
Duh...

Trivia from IMDB site: This film's title originated at an after-work happy hour among Hollywood colleagues to see who could come up with the most awful pitch for a movie. Producer Craig Berenson, who worked for DreamWorks at the time, gave his pitch for this movie based on a script called "Venom."

Contrary to popular belief, Samuel L. Jackson's agent insisted that the title be changed, because Samuel Jackson "couldn't" work on a film with such a title. When Jackson heard about all of this he responded with the much cited comment, "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."

I thought it looked like an awful film when I saw the trailer, but I've since heard that it's very tongue-in-cheek. It's really aimed at teenagers so has a lot of good gags.

Surprisingly entertaining! Think of any way a snake could kill a human and it's in there. Just be prepared to look away now and then...especially blokes - you'll see what I mean!

I saw it earlier this week. It's completely daft, but in a fun way. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is worth going to see.
