Once again another week of boredom with shallow people having meaningless conversations and doing pointless tasks, how can anybody find it interesting or informative, if any posters here can enlighten me please?.

Given people's natural voyeristic nature, it's no wonder it is an interesting programme to watch.

Now, take away all the commercial hype about it, the whole nominate, vote-out fluffiness and the pointless tasks: and simply observe the way people interact with each other. The mock-surprise expression at someone's statement, the fake laugh, the staring at someone when they don't know it and it all makes a nice little psychology human-behaviour project.

In the course of our voyerism, we learn a lot about ourselves, along the lines of: "I thought I was the only person in the world who did that!" or "I should try that technique of looking when I'm feigning interest". It might be difficult for us to accept that we act for the image we have on other people, but we are social animals and so, we do!

Someone once said that we are all amateur psychologists.

someone once said that we are all peeping toms? it's natural.. and exhibitionism too? Errm, i was just dion' a bit of amateur psychology, yer honour. ;-) I guess if BB wasn't popular, they wouldn't be doing another series.. or is it that the public wants what the public gets?
