For me - Even Cowgirls Get The Blues.

A tedious, directionless load of ooh-aren't-we-weird-and-whacky tosh.

Closely followed by:

Pretty Woman
Mission Impossible 2
Crocodile Dundee 2
Practical Magic (not even being in love with Nicole Kidman could rescue it)
The Passenger
Little Voice

i agree with pirates 2 - yawn yawn if johnny wasn't in it i wouldve walked out
Also agree with Moulin Rouge and add to that Chicago - not the way to do musicals - utter cr*p

Also Sexy Beast - just not feeling it

as per a previous thread - clerks, mallrats, dogme - any kevin smith film really
ooop dogma!
Flesh Gordon and the Cosmic Cheerleaders

We tossed a coin and this won (it was a friends first choice, not mine). It's also the only film I've ever walked out on. Utter sh1te.
Superman ( the new one , even the old ones were million times better and they was not that great)

Spiderman 1 and 2 probably the worst CGI ever since The Rock in The Mummy Returns

Out of Africa

Totally agree with Kevin Smith rubbish too

LFAO @ Wardy!

I now see the error of my ways and realise I was grossly mistaken. Thank you for helping me to see the light!
sorry backdrifter, if i cant understand what a film is about because its so strange then yes, it IS rubbish! Eyes wide shut was another! garbage.whats the point!!!!!

There are films which have been hyped up that i didnt like, those being Shirley valentine, Bridget jones,(loved the 2nd one though) to name 2. I hate anything that is James Bond!!! sorry to all the Bond fans out there but they are pure drivel imho. I didnt like American Pie either.
Have to disagree with you backdrifter, i thought Little Voice was an excellent film.
forgot crocodile dunndee was utter rubbish!
wardy - no it was not a freudian slip i just have crazy fingers....

hated matrix 1,2,3 blade 1,2,3 (well only watched 1 but i assumed therefore i would hate the rest) but loved spiderman and all x-men films!!

also hated from dusk til dawn

I still don't quite get it, julie - if you don't know what it's about, how can you therefore know it's rubbish?! I'm not trying to be difficult, honest! Do you see what I'm getting at? I might wonder if it'd seem good if I understood it, but I don't think I'd then take the extra step of thinking "but it doesn't, therefore it's rubbish".

Re Little Voice - well, this is one of the wonderful things about discussions like this - I hated it but knew someone out there would have the opposite view. I found it a bit nauseating and very predictable/formulaic - typical of a certain type of parochial British film, full of whimsicality and wistfulness and with the most cliched shovel-in-the-face ending. Yeccch. One thing I do agree with you on - the Bond films. Utterly tedious. One or two Conneries I can stomach, and Licence To Kill, but the Brosnans are forgettably interchangeable while the Moores are just plain embarrassing.
A Clockwork Orange and American Beauty were the most over-hyped pieces of cack!!! Both were total rubbish!
Airborne starring Steve Guttenberg and Sean Bean.
Nick Fury: Agent Of Shield starring David Hassellhoff (I really should have known better than to watch this one.)
i am so going to rent nick fury - it sounds so bad its brilliant!

Oh god yes thank you - Matrix! haven't seen 2 or 3, no urge to after the tedium of the 1st one. Reeves is a plank in pretty much anything anyway, but this was exceptionally bad.

I don't know if I'm missing it, but with these portentous trilogies such as Matrix, LOTR, Star Wars, there never seems to be any light & shade. No-one ever stops to have a laugh. It's all so po-faced and humourless. Everyone frowns all the time, speaks in low voices... it just makes me want to chuckle. There are differences though - in the LOTR films they speak really slowly, in the Matrix they wear long black coats.
The Blair Witch Project - tedious in the extreme.
I have to disagree with Donnie Darko and The Crow, I loved both of those films and most of the Kevin Smith films as well (saw clerks 2 on Friday and laughed my @rse off!!)

And if you can get past the first 10 minutes of Moulin Rouge the film is great.

Now, The Da Vinci Code was complete drivel and Dan Brown should have been kickin gup an almightly fuss for having his brilliant book completely torn to pieces!!
The Lawnmower Man 2 - I wasted 2 hours of my life watching this drivel!
Claireyfairy - I'm sure The Crow has its merits but I'm the sort of shallow git who can let one bad scene ruin a film. And there's a belter in The Crow: it's the bit where he's so overcome with angst and grief that he goes up onto the roof and throws himself around... while playing the electric guitar.

PLEASE.
right backdrifter, you ARE being difficult LOL ;-) i thought they were rubbish films because they were just plain weird. What constitutes rubbish to one, is different for another. How can i say a film is good even though i didnt understand any of it. Makes perfect sense to me. I like a decent story and a bit of a plot a begining, middle and ending!! These films were just mixed up rubbish about nothing!! Now are you with me???? :-)
