'Escape To Victory'!
...but seriously, try finding 'Once In A Lifetime' - it's a documentary that was released this year, about the New York Cosmos - Pele, Chinaglia, etc. in the NASL.
I liked Goal and Green Street was good too. Didn't like the book Football Factory so didn't bother with the film but others have said its good - but violent.
Hope this helps.

thanx for your input folks,FLOELLA i can assure u that the football factory is worth checking out a bit violent in parts but tru to life about youg men and drinking etc.
OK Horace, you've convinced me to at least give football factory a go. I liked Green Street so the violence shouldn't bother me too much.
and how could I have forgotten Mean Machine, thats a great film. The Monk is the best goalie in the world. Lately, I've started to think Pepe Reina is modelling himself on the monk!
ID and Gregory's girl-she's a girl that plays football, not got too much to do with it really. And ID is about 1980's football hooliganism, cant remember seeing much if any football in it, but it was a good film.
You beat me to it, teag1rl - I was just going to recommend
ID.
All about these times when you have to take a stand, be a man and you will have a great life plan.
