Simon Drew 'spot the film' - please help!
34 Answers
My husband got a Simon drew card for his birthday last week. It's one of these ones where you have to work out the film title from the drawing. We've got them all except one and it's driving us loopy. The picture is of a large duck or goose and standing seperately on the right is a group consisting of two small ducks and a turkey.
Come on ABers - someone out there must be able to get this! x

The answer to number 6 on the front just came to me; Towering Inferno (Tower-Ring-Infer "No"). It must have been by seeing how this Simon Drew fellow's mind works. Brilliant.

The following are my answers to Simon Drew's Spot the Film puzzle. I may be wrong, of course.
Page 1, Item 1: The silence of the lambs
Page 1, Item 2: Cities + N + Cane = Citizen Cane
Page 1, Item 3: grate + S + Cape = Great Escape
Page 1, Item 4: a + freak + n + Queen = African Queen
Page 1, Item 5: Dirty + Hairy = Dirty Harry
Page 1, Item 6: Tower + Ring + Infer No = Towering Inferno
Page 2, Item 1: Poultry, geese = Poltergeist (this is a guess)
Page 2, Item 2: A face in the crowd
Page 2, Item 3: Barber + L + R = Barbarella
Page 2, Item 4: The blob
Page 2, Item 5: Pin + Oak + e + Hoe = Pinnochio
Page 2, Item 6: Ducks + Hoop = Duck Soup

I have been given 6 small placemats by simon drew, you guys have helped me with the film one but i have spot the elvis song, spot the wine, spot the country, spot the singer and the plays of william shakespeare!!! It's been keeping me busy and now I'd like some help. Anyone seen these other ones? Thanks.
I have had this card about as long as you, & I am still convinced that no1 on page 1 is not the Birds or Poltergeist. If it was the birds they wouldn't all be edible or game/foul. There would be more random birds like gulls, starlings, bluebirds etc. Poltergeist just doesn't fit. This is driving me mad so far I have.
Side One:
1. Silence of the Lambs
2. Citizen Kane
3. Great Escape
4. African Queen
5. Dirty Harry
6. Towering Inferno
Side Two:
1. ?
2 The Middle Man
3. Barberalla
4. Greece
5. Pinnochio
6. Duck Soup
Can ANYONE help with no1 on side 2?- It has a goose facing left, a small gap then 2 ducks also facing left & a turkey behind the 2nd duck but facing right. I know they can all be eaten & are especially for USA holidays ie Thanksgiving & Christmas. I think it will be something to do with foul & game, but I'm sure the way the birds are positioned must be something to do with it
