No
Nah, not really. Too much talking and not enough fighting. Bring back Richard Greene.

Oh I so wanted it to be good too otherwise its more strictly come dancing factor with Ant and Dec Thornton
It is such a shame that this has been made for its target audience!

The young impressionable street kids with moralistic mummies and daddies. Its a bit too panto for me, albeit without the audible booing every time The BIG BAD Sheriff appears on screen, and the hurrahs when Robin ***** his bow. And that dopey comedy sidekick of his.. And not a single drop of blood?!? Even kids would like to see an arrow do what it was designed to do wouldnt they? Gawd, its all a bit embarrassing really, but providing the kids enjoy it Id still rather watch this than any of the crap that ITV repetitively churn out.
*** is what archers do when they put an arrow in their bow - and rhymes with locks.
I thought Part 2 was better than Part 1.Some of the characters are beginning to show their layers,eg Guy & Little John. Most of them are still rather one dimensional at present.I hope this improves as the series progresses.
For some reason the beeb seem to have made a decision to aim their dramas at the younger audience.
This is so bad great, you have to watch to se how bad it's going to get. Anyone else thinl that Robin is so camp he makes Dale Winton look like Martin Johnson.
Thought expressions like "Don't do pain,Don't do hurt, etc. were modern nerdy terms.!!
Yeah i gave it a go but it is utter sh*t-b****cks, cringeworthy writing and acting, and the theme tune starts off with the Superman theme.
Oh yes and someone commented on my TOGS radio show this a.m. that the sheriff said 'tick tock' but mechanical clocks were 300 years or so off being invented. DOH
