Does anyone remember where this song/jingle comes from? I have it in my head but can't place it. Is it from a TV show many years ago?

The song is by Louis Jordan but I dont know where it is from.. I seem to remember the saying being on the Goon show but I may be wrong

I looked this up on the Net, and it was recorded by Louis Jordan in 1946, but it may have been written by Johan Whitney and Alex Kramer. Sorry I can't remember it!

The line itself was used as a catchphrase in that brilliant but obscure comedy "Nightingales" with Robert Lindsay. The situation involved overnight security guards in an office block. A character would come on and say "Anyone there?" and the others would reply with the line and chicken movements. This description doesn't sound funny, but it was a really funny show.
