If I buy sky multiroom at the 10 per month that they charge, can I attach more than one TV in the house for that price? I am guessing that Sky would say no (because they would rather charge anoither 10 per month for attaching other TVs), but can it be done?
I have sky multi room and when the engineer came to fix it I asked could I atttach an adaptor to go into other rooms and he told me no because of the telephone line. I am still going to try though. The only problem being you will only be able to watch what is on on the extra box. I did that to go into one bedroom but we have to control it from downstairs.
You can have your Sky channels in every room in the house if you so wish! Mr X has done some jiggery-pokery with a signal booster from Argos, which takes the Sky cable in and then splits the signal 4 ways - we've no degradation of signal, but obviously can only watch the same program on all 4 TVs. Does this make any sense?!
I had something called a digi eye that cost about 14 pound and you connect to your telly in another room and existing sky box and you dont pay sky anything but you do have to watch same as other tv.
my parents have multiroom and also have a leadgoing round the house. My father also bought a gadget so he can change the sky in the second room from the first and he can change the channel in the first room from his bedroom
