It was absolutely horrible watching the poor thing, not only did they drop it, but then to have had it in a hot studio surrounded by loud clapping, laughing and bright lights. What was the point?
Shame it didn't bite someone, there were pleantly of good contenders there. The awards themselves were very good, but the pointless python accessorie was stupid.

i agree that having the snake was pointless, but I disagree that it was poorly treated.

THe handler is a well-known experienced person who would have disagreed to do it if he had thought it would harm or scare he snake. I think the people were more scared than the snake.
