''The Strange Report'' on DVD

Does anyone remember this series starring Anthony Quayle from the late 1960's? I recently bought the DVD from Amazon and have just finished watching all 16 episodes. The quality of the production and the storylines were all excellent and it was a shame that only 16 were ever made. I thoroughly recommend it to everyone.

Just to say I agree. This was shown at the launch (and probably since then and in the future) of ITV4. I'd never heard of it, but as I remembered - and was watching - most of the other stuff they were showing, I gave it a try and loved it. Takes me back as I remember those taxi's too!.

Ditto from me! I was not around when it was first on but like Postdog I watched it on ITV4 . I loved it so well acted with gripping story lines . Any one writing modern drama should learn from this.:-D
