The BBC must have been desperate. This series is complete rubbish the only good bit is when the credits come up at the end.I don't mind jasper carrot i liked him in the detectives with Robert Powell.I'd rather watch re runs of the Detectives on a friday night.

As evidenced by the savage scheduling and outright culling of some programmes, both the BBC and commercial channels are under the thrall of the god of 'Ratings' - which they all serve. On that basis, this sereis must have mustered enough of an audience to make a re-commission viable - or maybe Mr Carrott has friends in high places - or maybe I'm just getting cynical! As to the merit of the programme, i can't comment, i haven't seen it - but no doubt others will add their views.

The BBC clearly gave this programme a second series (and started it) because it involves the disabled, ethnic minorities and mixed-race marriages, and it would help them to meet their 'quota' of programmes portraying minority groups- never mind it being any good!!
