Does anyone know the name of the country/rural programme from the 70s where a tweedy chap would discuss vintage farming implements? I think Bob Fleming from The Fast Show was based on him?!

The programme was called 'Out of Town' and its presenter was a guy called Jack Hargreaves, who also incidently used to appear on 'How?' Still have nightmares about the shire house that appears in the opening credits.

Of course! Thank you. Shirehorses...Spanish Guitar opening music...Beards and pipesmoke... It's all coming back to me now.
He was also in an earlier programme called Country Matters which was totally un PC they used to talk about huntin shootin and fishin while he drew heavilly on his pipe.
didnt jack hargreaves also do a programme called bygones or am i getting my wires crossed?
In answer to Mindbullets, Bygones (an Anglia TV production, fact fans) was presented by Dick Joice. The theme music may (or may not) have been played on a barrel organ.
The guitar music from 'Out of Town' was called 'Memories From the Alhambra'.

mowgli, you'd better not look at this link because it shows the opening and closing credits - complete with Jack and Shire horses.
