Is the actor who plays Dev possibly the worst actor in the history of the planet or is the character supposed to be a complete and utter t*sser. Or both? I can't quite figure it out.

I'm sorry, I don't have the answer but I've wondered that too. He always seems a bit drunk to me - or is that him trying to be cool?

I just watched an epidose of "Casuality" wot wuz churned oot for us papped masses. It was first shown on 12th September, 1992, and featured Jimmi Harkishin playing virtually the same character as the Corrie one, but with a bit more hair. However, things got better about 20 minutes into the story when he had the inevitable accident and spent the rest of the episode comatose on a bed whilst others agonised over what to do with his internal organs. That bit was a class bit of acting!
