I feel a bit of sympathy for the actors who play these characters, its the scriptwriters, if you can call them that who i reserve my contempt for...theres more holes in these plots than a collander.

I'll however nominate, dot cotton or sharon whatshername from eastenders.

That whingeing kid in Emmerdale - Jack Sugdens daughter. Whenever she gets a line, she whines it then looks around smugly looking to see who's fawning over her.

The whole mind numbing tedium of soaps generally gets my goat. Are peoples lives so otherwise empty that they need these cocktails of mediocrity?

loosehead i watch eastenders and my life is not in any way empty !! i watch eastenders as i enjoy it ! for half an hour i switch off, relax and enjoy being entertained...whats so wrong with that ?
