TV 2 story drama & book?

Sorry for the sketchy details but can someone help me on this? 1st story - Woman/witch sets up a robbery with a man in a different worl through a mirror! The robbery goes wrong and the man gets sent to jail on the other side if the mirror and is trapped. 2nd story - Boy who lives on a farm travels home at night and ends up at an old roman cross-roads. He manges to get sent back in time, where he meets a woman. Has a relationship with this woman and then finds out that this woman ends up as his grandmother, and he has just become his own grandfather by getting the woman pregnant. At the end he is back in the present time, and on reading his grandfather's gravestone it mentions something about time. If you can provide title(s) and author(s) you will make a friend very happy.
