What was the name of the Mel Gibson movie in which he was a Vietnam War reporter. I think it was made in the 80's. One of the images was that of a young Vietnamese girl ,burned,after having been napalmed. ????

Yes Molly is right. It was The Year of Living Dangerously. But I think the image of the girl is actually from a newsreel about the vietnam war, not the film.

Just FYI, the film wasn't about Vietnam. It's set in Jakarta, Indonisia in 1965 and is about the upheavals that were threatening the unstable government of President Sukarno.
