Remember I asked the question about where everyone sleeps in the Barlows house, well Granada sent the following reply to my e-mail.
Thank you for your e-mail. The Barlow household is fairly full. Ken and Deirdre have one bedroom and Adam has the other which he shares with Tracy and Amy. When Peter stays he sleeps on the sofa. Blanche sleeps in the front room downstairs. I hope this helps. Best wishes
I mean Tracy, Amy and Adam in one room, and Tracy and Adam arent even blood related, sick barstewards or what.
Well there's a room free upstairs now. Tracy in prison, Amy next door in the Rovers and Adam gone to Portsmouth with Peter (sofa free now). And even Blanche has gone off to her friends.
But Peter and Blanche have both been there at the same time and that isnt even a sofa bed it is a solid couch with a wooden frame i think and it is a small two seater - do they have a front room that we dont see as I think the websters have another room apart from the one they always eat in off the kitchen and they live on the same side of the street. God I'm sad!
Granada are telling porkies in a small snippet shown recently of the time Tracey was supposed to have spent the night with Roy Cropper, there was only one double bed.I am sure Tracy and Adam weren't sharing ( or did I miss something) and what about the time Steve spent the night.Did you notice Sally going upstairs at the party in the Morton's house to see where everyone slept 'because there are so many of them?'I think we have been giving the script writers ideas.By the way warpig3 they didn't answer my e-mail so thanks for sharing yours.
thanks for all your replies, what sad lives we live, ha,ha!
moonshadow it did take them a while to get back to me so I am sure they will in time, probably took them so long to think up a solution to the question!
funny that, cos we've been saying that about the space at Pat's house in Eastenders! Pat, Carly, Deano and their dad, Squiggle, Chelsea and their mum. Very cramped!
bensonsmum e-mail them and ask, it would be interesting to know what their explanation is, I know its just fiction but it should have some credibility, also how many bedrooms are there in the Queen vic, the place seems to expand and contract like noboby's business!
I went out tonight (about time too I should get out more) so didnt have time to ponder the sleeping arrangements of my 'friends' at Albert Square and Weatherfield.
I was wondering about Pat Wickes house as well - also the Slaters house at one time seemed to have lots of people in it. When there was Gary Lyn Jessie Wallace and Mo and Little Mo and the taxi driver dad and the young one that looks like Liv Tyler and those are only max 3 bedroom houses if they are based on the real East London! I used to live there!
