A 25-year-old woman has spent 70K on turning herself into the world's top Posh Spice lookalike. The woman copies Victoria Beckham's every hair cut and style statement. She can earn upwards of 4,000 a month doing fashion shoots and imitating Posh at parties. What do you think? Would you want to spend all day everyday being someone else?

Curlyperm longs to be Lorraine Kelly....Not!!!LOL!Sorry curls was only joking:-))
every human being is unique.... i find it all a little sad that somebody would spend soooo much money trying to be somebody else? Get your own identity!! lol. each to their own i guess. not for me though, i'm comfortable in my own skin :-)
I personally wouldn't do it, but if this woman is earning that amount of money each month then why not? Good luck to her I say!

Thinking about it though I'd quite like to look like Angelina jolie, sadly though it'd cost a lot more than 70K to achieve that! :-(
celebrities are only normal people too (just with a LOT more money obviously lol) i say most of them if they didnt have millions of pounds worth of make up and a team of stylists and the opportunity to spend 6 hours getting ready to do one photo shoot a week, they would look like every normal person on the street. and plus they are all airbrushed in magazines.
id prefer to be normal than have my head lodged up my bum thinking i was something special!!!
Ahh,never mind B00,i`m sure you`re lovely the way you are..me,i`d like to look like Spongebob Squarepants!
why would anyone want to look like someone else, unless theire a twin and dont have a choice. I myself like being different.
I thought that 65% of women spent 75% of their time spending 30% of their disposable income in order to read two thirds of all weekly magazines produced so that they could follow 88% of the fashion and beauty tips of 99% of famous celebrities in order to look, dress and behave 100% like them?

Obviously I have rounded the numbers up, but they are 201% accurate.
I`ve never understood why any one would pay to have a look a like attend anything. Why would you want to meet someone who`s no one. Pointless.
They are cheaper than the real thing.
And the real thing is pretty cheap too
According to that news item although this woman has been being Vicky B for about 6 years she spends 3,000 a year on clothes and goes to a tanning salon 3 times a week, and goes to the hairdressers every fortnight to keep hairstyle to mirror her idol. Presumably the 70k figure is an accumulation over many years, not a 10 Years Younger or Extreme Makeover extravaganza that this Q leads to believe.

My wife spends more than that on clothes in a year.

I think that possibly without the comparative looks many women will live a similar lifestyle of expenditure, without the resultant income, as that of poor little Vicky-looky-likie Camilla.

I agree with Ric.ror - the pile of garments beside a naked Victoria Beckham would be worth more.
Can we have a link to a picture so we can see if it was worth it?
no thanks wouldnt like to be like someone else, and defo not posh spice, shes a stick insect looks like shes got a big head shes that slim.the woman must be mad to want to look like her
Ive got better things I could do with that sort of money, and looking likre somebody else would not be one of them.
No, I hate my username!
actually, i'd quite like a job like this -earning money just to turn up to parties ...?

i wouldn'y have loads of surgery, but if i found that i naturally looked like a celeb, i would happily fake it for a few hours a week.

after all the second you clock off you are you again.

most people are defined by their jobs, at least in the eyes of others, it is often the first thing people say when asked ''who are you?''
i would think this nothing more than any other job.
I have just looked at the link and I must say she does look very like her - she better watch out - we now how rampant Mr B is - alledgedly
I'd rather look like me
