What Film?
2 Answers
This is one of those annoying vague questions but I'm afraid I have to ask in the hope that someone might recognise what I'm talking about.
I think what I'm refering to is a film but it could have been in a TV programme. Pretty sure it is a film though. There is a married couple, who are fairly old, but not elderly, maybe in their fifties. At one point the man ask the woman how her day was or something along those lines and the woman starts crying and say's 'I didn't think you'd ever ask'. Anyone got any ideas what it's a scene from? Any help appreciated.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120789/plotsummar y
It is set in the "perfect" world of 50's America TV land. The Husband comes home everyday to "the Mrs" and the usual "Honey I'm home " etc ....then there is a change and I think he actually asks her one day like you said and then the tears ....
Maybe?
