I heard that the Angel star came to England recently for a public appearance and barely stayed for 5 minutes before being whisked away leaving thousands of fans disappointed. Does anybody know of this story or have more information?

Not sure if this is the same story, but there was a "David Boreanaz European Event" in Brighton last August that made "Watchdog". I had considered going, but was put off by the extortionate ticket prices, and the way that they were advertising for staff (who going by the job descriptions would be working like dogs all weekend) but expected them to pay for tickets as well as work. (Plus I couldn't really get off work that weekend). Anyway, the event was a shambles, with not a lot going on for your money.
