The Plumbers Arms isn't actually a pub at all - it is a local social club. The real name is Seymours Family Club. They used Seymours because it isn't open during the day like a pub - therefore they could film there from 7am until 6pm before the place actually opened for business. One night in July 2003 they filmed some scenes in the evening - I was there playing skittles and bumped into Andrew Lincoln on the way in - he wasn't in the show at that point but was directing the last two episodes of series 3. Have a look at their website if you want to know where it is:- www.seymoursfamilyclub.co.uk

If anyone knows where the 'new' pub is then I'd be pleased to know!

Steve,

Cheers, took a while but I finally got to pay it a visit the other day! The new pub is on Colston Street, it's called the Bristol Sport and Social club or something along those lines.
