thomson freeview recorder

my thomson freeview box just turned itself off and now no longer seems to work. All i get is a flashing orange light on the box which i have never seen before. does anyone know what this means and how i could fix it?

in a nutshell, its kaputted!
mine did that a little while ago out of the blue.
i got mine through topup tv and when i rang them up and told them what happened, they said theyd send a replacenent out to me which they did, no quibble attall.
i think it must be a common fault with thses boxes.

Yep, me too - I had a thompson when I had top up TV when it first started. Gave up on the Top up tv, so just used the box and then one day, nothing. Tried everything, unplugging, not using for a while, change fuse, the lot, but basically, it died.
