looking for a cartoon

im looking for an old japanese cartoon i saw when i was3yrs old the whole point of the movie is that the main character must get the girl he loves(but she was killed and its a spirit who lives inside his umbrella. well he has to get her through the gates of new borning they must get into a train so that they can be born again and she can be alive but in the end he goes through but she dosent and as a kid he picks up the umbrella and goes to find the door again(remeber its animation)
