Please, please can somebody tell me who the actor is who plays Roger (who had throat cancer) is this series and what series he was in before. I feel sure it was a comedy series. It is driving me mad trying to work out what he used to be in!

Thanks so much both of you. I didn't watch 'drop the dead donkey' but, from the name Jeff Rawle, looked him up on Google and the series I had seen him in was 'Faith in the Future' with Linda Bellingham. I can now go to bed without it niggling me all night.

Generally speaking, www.imdb.com is very useful for finding the name of an actor or what they've been in. If you search for a programme anme,. it gives you a cast list, and if you search for a name, it lists all the stuff they've been in (TV as well as films).

Actually, perhaps the question should be, what series *hasn't* he been in? He must be one of the busiest actors in Britain. He even played two different characters in "Heartbeat" and "The Royal" within a few weeks earlier this year.
