New series on BBC2 hosted by Dermot Murnaghan! Came across this programme yesterday where quizzers are competing for a place alongside the regular Eggheads! Noticed a few familar quiz faces from other programmes! Today there was "large" Mark form Wales who was obviously associated with CJ from other quizzes! Thank goodness he didn't win as he his almost as obnoxious as CJ. Lets hope we get an Egghead with a personality!!

I find Raggy Roman's answer to that question very offensive.
I love all quizzes but I cannot watch Eggheads because I find all the Eggheads absolutely insufferable.

Kevin is shy, Daphne wants people to win . Chris is pompous, Judith too posh for tv and CJ is a Conceited Jerk.

Watched it today, winner wasn't exactly Mr Personality and seemed to insist upon being called doctor as he had a computer degree.Did have an egg-shaped head though!!

I find the whole thing infuriating!!!!!
The egg heads take so effing long to getting round to answering any one question! I'm sure during a whole half hour show (or however long the torture is) Dermot only asks about 6 questions.

It's like he asks something about for example an ancient cretian art form, and the Eggheads start their answer with
"Well when I last went to Crete I..........blah blah blah"
We don't want to know about your effing holiday to Crete JUST GET ON WITH IT AND ANSWER THE F***ING QUESTION!!!!!

I like both of the Egg-Head programmes, but wish the producers would ask/tell the E/Heads panel to lighten up a little and try to bring a bit of humour to the show.

At times they give the impression they are Gods gift to the world and everybody else is thick.

Did I hear right tonight when Dermot read out the credentials of the Northern bloke with the glasses, that he had appeared on Deal or No Deal?
Now that needs quiz knowledge!!!!!!!.

And finally, why doesn't somebody tell that CJ to stop flickering hi eyebrows when he knows an answer, as if to say, Oh that's easy!
