1970's 1980's Comedy Post Apocalypse

I vaguely remember a sit-com from late 70's / early 80's which was set mostly in a rugby club with I think just 3 people (2 men & 1 woman) in it who had survived the apocalyps one because he was doind a sponsored submerse with the rugby team in the swimming pool and when he surfaced, everyone was gone. He though it was a prank to start with.
The spent most of the time eating peanuts and getting on each others nerves.
I would love to know what it was called so I can try and track it down on DVD.
