The BBC seem to churn out these mediocre sitcoms on some kind of conveyer belt. They're always shown in a similar timeslot and always have one famous face in it.
All of them you could watch without cracking a smile, I've learned to ignore them!
I tried to watch a bit of it last night,my opinion dire,acting was wooden,why do they always have these type of shows with middle class southeren actors,let me guess the old bug bear regional accents!!!
Have you forgotten Bread, The Liver Birds, Rab C Nesbitt, Still Game, Steptoe and Son, Rigsby, Men Behaving Badly, Andy Capp, Benidorm, Black Books, Eyes Down, Porridge, The Grimleys, In Sickness and in Health, Not On Your Nellie...
None of those are middle class and many aren't set down south. I am a huge sit com fan - some are better than others, some are quite dire, but I love em
