Has anyone heard the news about Jade Goody's cancer spreading??

I know a lot of people are going through this as well minus all her money ect... but I cant actually belive it.

Could she die??

Im very fortunate that I have only come accross cancer when my 80 year old grandfather had it so its very different to a young 27 year old.I feel very ignorant about the whole thing but very sad for & everyone else suffering form it.

It is very sad but I dont believe she needs to keep telling the papers and news teams. My bloke got cancer at an even younger age but he kept it very quiet from other people, but I guess people deal in different ways. Kylie didnt have to be in papers at every stage. But yes very sad for her and her beautiful boys if it does result in her death. She should just concentrate on getting better though and getting all the help that is needed.

Depend where it has spread to, but once it is in your system and moving around the body, it could turn up anywhere else, and it is usually not a good sign.

i know it sounds a bit stupid but this whole time I never really thought she could die, it just sort of dawned on me today when i read it on msn.

She has no other means of making an income and has become accustomed to a certain standard of living & as long as people buy the mags that she features in I dont criticise her for it at all. Evryone needs to make an honest living however that may be.

according to the press they found tumours in her groin, liver & bowels plus of course the exisiting cervical one.

Yes I agree with you there but its just a shame other people that cant afford the drugs dont have the oppurtunity to go to a paper to get the money

I really feel sorry for her.

She's was built up by the media to be something she wsn't to start with then that smae media tried to destroy her after the Shilpa Shetty thing, just so they were being politically correct. If she's publicising her plight as much as she is then you can bet it for her kids, to make sure they are provided for.

I really hope she get's through it.

oh yes definately it is SOOOOO important you have regular smears. So all you woman too embarrassed to do it, its nothing compared to some things you may have to go through if you dont find it in time

I read somewhere that she is doing just that. Making as much money for her children as she can, hence the endless news/gossip mag stories about her. To be frank, I can't say I blame her. She's doing what she can to make sure that if the worst happens, they'll be provided for.

I'm not her biggest fan, but I wish her well.

Her money will not help her now, but it may give her some peace of mind that her children may benefit.

Like BOO, I never have like her, but I feel very sorry for her, as I would for anyone who is suffering from cancer (and more than likely terminal cancer).

she did have regular tests but the cancer went unnoticed for 4 years. nobody deserves that or what she is going through

I had read that too Gina. It just wasn't picked up in the tests.

Yes she has already said she is doing it for their future which is very wise, Ilm sure if we could all do that we would but we cant. The papers cannot make her into a media toy unless she does the interviews, they didnt do it with Kylie. I dont have a high opinion of Jade at all but would never wish cancer on anyone.

4-get. I don't think Jade Goody is intelligent enough to have thought about her media success, so we can't really blame her. Kylie is totally different, a lady with a good upbringing and a good brain. Jade needed media attention for financial reasons, Kylie certainly didn't.

plus Kylie is a singer that is her profession, press or no press she sells records & sells out concerts.

Jade has no profession, selling interviews & making a tit of herself on tv (i know that sounds awful but you know what I mean) is her job and that is the way she has made an income since BB.

I agree with loftie that i dont think she had the intelligence or wisdom to realise that she effective sold her soul to the devil and they became in full control of her life.

I disagree with docspock completely. My life, privacy & the control I have over my life is worth more than all the money in the world. I would never want to become a media toy.
