I am desperate to try and get hold of a copy of a programme that was aired in the early days of channel4(1984). it was called "annika" set in the isle of wight, it was about swedish exchange students. Jessie Birdsall starred in it (swoon swoon) I have e-mailed channel4 (no reply) tried e-bay (no mention) imdb.com mentions it but it doesn't seem to be available. Did anyone tape it (i would pay good money) not that i am slightly obsessed, but i remember that it was one of the best things i have ever watched........... you know what will happen will get hold of it 20 years later and it will be total crap but would just love the opportunity to watch it again (suppose I could e-mail Jessie Birdsall but wouldn't know where to start)

It was a three part mini series and I watched it on my vhs copy at the weekend. It wasn't a dissapointment it was actually very good, albeit some of the music was dated.
Most spooky thing is that for the last ten years, I have have been with a real life Swedish Annika and we are expecting our second child..........
The VHS copy is very good as long as your video has a decent tracking mechanism and most importantly is free if you want a copy !
