Blind lady in Emmerdale

I don't watch Emmerdale every day so often miss things! Who is the blind lady that has been in it the last couple of weeks? Where did she come from?

I'm not entirely sure if she's completely blind or partially. Anyway, her name is Lizzie and I think she met Laurel whilst they were both doing Community Service. She's a petty criminal and was previously friends with Lisa Dingle.

The Lady is Blind and is the first blind person to appear on any of the British Soaps ,the other answer is correct ,if you watch her closly you will see that she steals like a magpie ,leave it and it will be gone .
She has added a bit of a sparkle to a show that is getting very boring,I have read that Happy Sugdon is leaving the farm and there will be a new family ,I for one hope they hurry up .

Kitty McGeever is blind (see her web site in google) she's also a stand up comedian,she went blind at 33 due to a diabetic problem

A lady that was totally blind used to live near me. She lived on her own & used to go on the bus to our local little town.
