The kids were brilliant - and the adults too - apart from that mum who I was a bit iffy about - selfish cow she was eh? That lovely boy Brandon just tugged at my heartstrings - I wanted to cuddle him and bring him home with me.
The mum wanted to set up a business selling face creams? Blooming heck - I hope she doesn't advertise them personally, or she'll get no business whatsoever. And don't even think of going into hair products darling - (unless she's the before picture and finds someone else to do the after...... ) Ouch, b1tchy !

I saw the start of that, Salla, because the announcer said that one of the families lived in Brighton.
Which they did, but ... not Brighton as I'd care to know it !
"Poor Mum" was ghastly ... complexion like Brighton beach.
"Rich Dad" ... seemed quite nice, but cripes, what a Chav ...
"Yeah, mate ... Naah, mate ... Awright, mate"
When they showed the outside of the "poor family's" house, you could hear the seagulls (or maybe that was just because I had the window open).
Oh, crikey ... I hope the seagulls that sh!t on my windows don't go hanging around that end of town. "Poor mum" would probably shoot them and eat them!
Then I turned it off and put on a CD.
Love,
Seagull

I wish I had but I just had this morbid fascination with the mother. I wanted to hate the spoiled little rich kids - but actually, they were rather sweet. And that boy Brandon - I just want to look after him, buy him computer games that actually work and get him some decent shoes to wear. I want to take him swimming, to the cinema and give him a lovely bedroom of his own where he can be cosy and safe.
Aah, I'm getting all broody and sentimental. I did cry at the end of it - but that could have had something to do with the 4 glasses of savvy blanc I had consumed...

Mmmm - interesting !
There was an old bag a few months ago who was rather rude to me and I have a mental image now of her looking just like that woman last night...
Have you any ideas? Should we try and out her?!! (She probably only posts on the beauty section - because obviously she's well qualified for that..........)

i only saw the last 20 mins or so.
I couldnt believe that Brandons parents hadnt given hi their bedroom to sleep in and slept on the sofa bed themselves. Why move him every night?
As for the new bedroom he got, what a pokey space that was, good job the little lad is so skinny or he wouldnt fit on the top bunk.
The state of their home had nothing to do with being poor, a tube of glue to fix all those broken drawers in kitchen and bedrooms would be nothing really.

Mum was just a lazy cow, more concerned with her own wellbeing and happiness than her kids.
Dad seemed ok'ish - but if he disapproved of mum spending a quarter of their 'gift' on herself - why the hell didn't he try and stop her then?
I liked the so-called 'rich' family - they were just ordinary themselves really - I questioned the bloke's motives at times - good publicity & all that, but I thought the mum there was genuine.
