Gloria Hunniford on The One Show

Does anyone else find Gloria Hunniford incredibly annoying on The One Show?

She just won't shut up and poor old Gethin Jones can hardly get a word in and, when he does, she often just talks over him. So very rude! She is the female version of Richard Madeley.

Perhaps Gethin will do us a favour and strangle her before the end of the week.

I love The One Show, but I won't watch it with her. I find her incredibly annoying generally.

Can't stand Gloria Hunniford in ANY form.

The palaver when her daughter died of breast cancer.
The palaver when her son-in law married again.
The disgusting way that she interviewed Salman Rushdie and asked him "How dare you question your religion?"

All that I find distasteful in Catholicism and religion is embodied in GLORIA HUNNIFORD.

Not watched it since she took over for the other two's holiday.

You would think that she is the only one in the world who has lost a daughter/son, and she still harps on about along with the book she wrote.

Definitely a Richard Madeley clone.

Can't wait for Adrian and Christine to come back!! They make The One Show what it is. The balance of banter and content is just right and neither of them have giant egos.

thats a bit harsh, everyone deals with deaf in different ways. She has bought alot of awareness to breast cancer and helped alot of charities. Yes she is annoying when she butts in and it is rude for anyone to do that. But this question had nothing to do with the loss off her daughter which was and probably still is very sad for her. Who can put a time on grief.

Actually 4get. I just don't like her. Nothing to do with her daughter or anything else. She just grates on me totally.

Thanks for your responses. I must admit that I wasn't really bothered by her until her perfomance on The One Show, but now I will go out of my way to avoid her.

I agree with Lottie, Adrian and Christine work well together, although Christine seems to find him a bit of a trial. Or is it just an act?

Just an act, I think Supermike, they are good friends out of work. I love Adrian, he says it like it is and his humour is just great!

I've given up watching the One Show until Adrian and Christine return - I watched the programme on monday and was so annoyed by Gloria that I watched the Athletics on BBC2 instead!
