Alesha as a judge on Strictly

So what do you think? How many marks out of 10 would you give her? Personally, I'd give her 0 - no decent contribution to the show at all. Some guys may joke they'd give her 1 (ha ha), but I can't see her getting more than that. She's clearly made up to resemble, and therefore rival, Cheryl Cole on X Factor. But compared to Arlene she's a non-starter.

Hi chirpy - am just watching now - at ricky groves and Erin stage . I think tonight everyone is nervous and treading very carefully. I didn't like arlene but that was part of it for me and she should not have gone. I would think alesha is not going to say much for the first while till she gets a feel for the audience reaction

Blatant age discrimination getting rid of Arlene, a knowledgeable judge and replacing her with Alesha who may be younger and prettier but has half the knowledge of Arlene, which is after all what you need to be a judge really!

I think Alesha is just going to follow Len's lead as she obviously has no technical knowledge. I agree she has been made to resemble Cheryl Cole too.

I like her but, bring back Arlene. She was harsh but honest, and knew what she was talking about.

Well I don't really know what knowledge she has got actually pericat. So yeah I probs was being a bit kind.

Does she know and has she studied the technical side of dance I don't know?

I don't know what experience she has karma surely the likes of Karen hardy would have even been better. Gosh we're going to have fun b1tching for the next few months

I definitely think Alesha was worse than Kelly Brook was on Britain's Got Talent, and hopefully she'll also swiftly get the chop. Some people have suggested that Alesha was disrespectful to women, and Arlene in particular, by taking this job. I don't she should have taken it nor needed to at the time. When Alesha won Strictly as a contestant, Bruce Forsyth said something like she'd be the biggest star in Britain within a year. Well, she had a reasonably successful album with one very successful single. But that was about it. If she does now get axed from Strictly, I can't see where her career can go from there. She may even be finished, which would be interesting karma for taking Arlene's job.
