How many thought this was abysmal?
I cannot stand Dermot O'Leary, all that hype at the beginning, with him going around asking how he should host the awards. he even dared to approach that God Simon Cowell who phoned his hit man to 'kill him'.
Pity they didn't succeed because he was still on our screens, working up the mass hysteria of the 'rent a mob' crowd, with their whoops and screams.
Far too much hype for me I reached for the remote, and peace prevailed at last.

I liked it. If you cant stand the man, did you watch it all?

Yes, they could have done with loosing the beginning, though don't blame Dermot, it would most likely be the director who came up with that idea, an attempt at humour.
The other part I thought didn't work was a little into the show, thay mentioned how and where the votes had been collected, with captions zooming up the screen with a star-field background and big shouty voice-over trying to get funnier and funnier. It wasn't funny to my mind.

As co-presenters there is only Ant & Dec to win it each year.
Once we had Morecambe & Wise, Little & Large, The Two Ronnies, Cannon & Ball, Dudley Moore & Peter Cook.
Who is there now?

/// sorry meant to say how far did you get?//
I got fed up waiting for it to start, so turned it off, before it started.
So perhaps it wasn't fair of me to condemn the whole show.
It's that 'stupid', 'waste of space' individual Dermot O'Leary, what can he really do apart from also fronting the X Factor?

I think this is quite a difficult show to front.....who else would you rather have....Jonothan Ross.....Graham Norton...........et al .....all with their own shows to plug (well perhaps not Ross now)
I think O'Leary did a decent job of it.......found it embarrassing when Loose Women won.........can't stand the pompous git Stephen Fry and frankly find David Tennant weird.....
