lol.. you need a tv licence if you are watching any channel.
You need a tv licence if you have any device capable of receiving live television, whether you use it for that purpose or not.
You need a medal if you could just wath itv programmes
do you think your mate thinks that because ITV have adverts to get money and BBC dont?
I understand that the only time you don't need a TV licence (unless you're in sheltered housing etc.) is if you don't have a TV. Do you still need a radio licence if you only have a radio (like my friend)?
don't think so box.....I listen to the radio through my PC.
you only need a license if you watch any channels. If you had a tv and watched dvds you wouldnt need one
Are you sure, 4get, does the TV not have to be disabled in some way? Otherwise you could tell the licensing guys that you only watch DVDs then switch on Match of the Day as soon as they've gone!
not if they can tell channels are being transmitted
its if you watch or record tv. So you could not use a video player to watch a recorded programme. My mates bro doesnt have a license as he just watches dvds
It's nothing to do with what you ARE watching ...
It is concerning what you CAN watch.

If you have a TV, it is capable of receiving live broacasts, so officially .. you need a license.

If you had a dvd player and only a monitor, you would not need a license.
Tell your mate's brother not to get caught.
I believe you also need a licence if you watch tv through your pc.
its only if you record channels on them, check the tv license website, also yes you do buffer
It's just another tax. Everyone has to pay it.
my mate doesnt have tv licence, he says he watches online and therefore dont need one.
you need a licence whatever channel
whitebear he does have to have one even if watching it online
ITV has to pay the BBC to use the airwaves and so do we
