ALAN CARR I am no prude but the lauguage that comes out of his mouth and especially last night was disgusting and even his guests had to copy him .People that think this is funny must use that language continually them selves. And don't say I have an off button as some of his guests can be entertaining.

They never learn - remember Patrick Kielty? The BBC tried with all its considerable might to force this deeply unfunny man onto our screens, and finally had to give up when even their saturation coverage failed to convince their audience that he was worth switching on for.
Hopefully the novelty (!) or another camp man with a horrible voice and a cliched approach to humour will not last too long.

Who is Alan Carr?
Is he, by any chance, related to Pearl Carr, one half of the Pearl Carr and Teddy Johnson singing duo? I'm sure everybody remembers Pearl and her husband being runners up in the 1959 Eurovision song contest.
I suppose not, as his name would probably be Alan Johnson. Perhaps I'm getting him confused with the former postman and last Labour Home Secretary.
I think I'll go for a lie down.

Good morning sara3 - always a pleasure to hear from you - even with dreadful news like this! I believe the BBC is 'justifying' its £4million contract with Graham Norton by giving him Rossy's slot - as well as his radio show.
I hope this difference of opinion on Mr Carr is not going to be a stumbling block in our ongoing happiness? I am sure it won't!

I hate that word, with a passion but it is very descriptive and used in the right context can be hilariously funny, as did AC and JL last night
Like above, use the off switch if it offends you AND it's not like you weren't warned before the programme started
And for the record Patrick Kielty has NEVER been funny. He's as unfunny as an unfunny thing can be
