Humour is of course a subjective thing .
I've never found stand-up comics to be funny
Most rely on comments about genitals and use profanaties to get a laugh - which is not at all funny to me .
However i was watching fern Britain's this morning - one of her guest was the comedian
Stephen K Amos .
Now , he was very funny and spontaneous on the show - they also showed a clip of him in one of his shows and again he was very funny , without needing to call on the profanaties and genital lines .
Does anyone else think he is a funny bloke ?

I have to say a lot of comedians live don't live up to thier TV billing - saw Rhod Gilbert who has me in stitches but he came across as a kind of shouty manic depressive,
Ed Byrne is probably the best I have seen and Mark Thomas, if you don't mind his politics, is top draw as well.
