Just got round to watching last Sunday's episode. Another priceless one from the great Dame Maggie:

"Of course, he was foreign. No Englishman would dream of dying in someone else's house, especially someone he didn't know". LOL

The superb Dame Maggie!
Loved that line Mike ;-) and her incredulous expression, the very idea lol. Classic line earlier too, when her son suggested she might be worried that someone would think she was an American if she discussed money openly, and she sniffed "Oh,I don't think it'll come to that" superb delivery ;-)
She has been brilliant for years, whenever I see her I think of "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" My gels would never do that

She is absolutely magic. I remember her in the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Thought that she lowered her standards somewhat in the Harry Potter films, but she has certainly redeemed herself this time. In years to come, her comment, "What is a weekend?" will be as famous as Edith Evans', "A handbag???" (please don't let Answerprancer see this mention of handbags else the gates of Heaven and Hell will be opened and I will be well and truly cattled.)
Oh yes!! The brilliantly confused expression at The weekend oddity lol. Have no knowledge of your past record with Answerprancer, but i hope you'll escape his ire ;-)

I have no issues with Answerprancer. Actually I think he's a big soft pussycat, unless you mention the "H" word, at which he can become REALLY ANGRY!!
I know this thread is over a week old but can I put my oar in? Maggie Smith - brilliant. The scenes when she thought she had the god given right to win the flower competition each year were classic.
