Corrie tonight.......
20 Answers
I know its a soap but, I think the scrip writers should get real.
Sally said tonight when she found her gay daughter having hanky panky (her words) with her girlfriend that she shouldn't do IT under her roof.
What did she expect when they have been sharing the same bed for months on end?
Wish they would have an adult episode after 10pm so we could watch them at IT !!!! :-)

I think the whole of Corrie has gone pear shaped since the Tram crash(I think it crashed on the scripwriters).
David sleeps with Tracy.
Nick almost sleeps witth Tracy.
Sally kisses Tyrone.
whatever next,it make two lesbians seem quite normal(forgive the pun).
and yes and adult edition could be quite fun,any further ideas trt?

Most soaps try to explore real-life situations with a degree of even-handedness and realism - let's face it, this is the only place some viewers get to know about such issues!
I don't watch any soaps, but I would suggest that Sally's reaction is pretty typical of a lot of mums who simply don't know how to deal with their daughter's burgeoning womanhood, coupled with the fact that she is wearing comfortable shoes.
From my experience, the writers will develop this thread and hopefully Sally will become a little more educated and tolerant and realise that love is what matters, not gender.

Not necessarily.
It is a lovely phrase isn't it?
I like all those eupehmisms - Bowling from the pavillion end / arriving on the other bus / dancing at the far end of the ballroom - fabulous.
i also like the general ones like 'Tired and emotional' (legless) and 'Confirmed batchelor' (gay).
The British media are so clever at avoiding libel actions - and amusing people like us!
