Eastenders Complaints - A Bit Silly ?

Seen on the News tonight ... 1,000's of complaints about the Eastenders "cot death baby swap" story.

Isn't this all a bit over the top?

It's just a story.

eastenders and the bbc are entertainment providers. it is not the function of soaps to educate and tell people about misfortune of others...its is there as a drama.

it is sad that many are upset by this storyline, but you cant be annoyed that they 'wasted' an opportunity to raise aawareness as that is simply not their remit

it's such an unlikely plot that I dont see the point.
a. Kat's father & husband are almost suicidal with guilt - where will that lead ?
b.The dead baby was born with a club foot yet Kat didn't expect the foot when she claimed the babe wasn't hers ? .
c.Surely the baby's medical records would show it was Kat's baby due to the foot deformity.....its all too ridiculous.

lol at jaydah...yes of course it is...thats the point...its all going to come out soon enough... its pretty obvious she isnt going to get away with it...not sure you are undertsanding the role of the scriptwriters and the show...to weave a web of lies and intrigue etc...if every one always did the sensible and correct thing, tv shows would be very dull...


lots of babies have been stolen and switched etc...grieving, hormonal mothers have been known to do crazy things...not sure why you think this scenario is so unlikely.

Looks like they are going to end this sooner than they planned because of all the complaints. Just think of the thousands who have been watching just to find out what happens, as said above its a dramatic storyline.
