Frankly, no.  Much preferred Ediths style and sound.  Thought Kim acted her way through the songs too much, rather than actually feel the lyrics. She could do musicals, but she's not got a chart/pop voice (in my very humble opinion). Now I have to go and lie down, because you've made me sound like Richard Park.

i have to agree i thought kim should have won it for the best voice or at least adrian for the humour side but definately not edith. didnt the people who voted for her hear her singing it takes two with reggie ive never heard anyone singing soooooo flat in my life.

Yes she did have the best voice, but Edith as they said had more of an original sound.  But in my view seeing as it was COMIC Relief shouldn't Ade Edmonson have won it!  I laughed my head off at him, didn't seem to laugh so much at Kim or Edith!!!!

ok, kim did have the best voice, but i'm kind of glad that she didn't win because i feel that she took it all to seriously. It was for comic relief and for pure entertainment only, personally i think that adrian should have won :)

Personaly i thought Kim was the better singer over all & on the night.And that is coming from a Scotsman.I would have liked to have seen Adrain win it as he was entertaining.

I've only watched a couple of progs, but saw the first night and I thought then that Edith would win 'cos I thought she sounded best of a 'bad' bunch.

Kim was definitely the best singer and note perfect.  Edith was flat on several occasions but her voice was more interesting and commercial. 

The worse thing about it all was Lesley on the panel of judges.  Completely over the top and shrill!

Agree with you FP about Lesley...way over the top!  I think Kim had the best voice technically, but Edith was popular with the public, and she also showed a comedic (hope thats a word..!) side to her, with her duet with Adrian, and afterall, its all about Comic Relief, and raising money for charity!

I think she did have the best voice but it's not everything when you're picking up the phone to vote. I think people saw through Kim toward the end and thus she lost votes. She is, after all, a damn fine actress and she acted her little sock off for Comic Relief, bless her.

maybe your right about her taking it seriously , i read that she was leaving easenders perhap`s she was hoping to get a record deal, still think she had the beat voice though

I thought Kim had a great voice, but as people have said she acted her way through it, I must admit I also think she came across as quite cold.

does it really matter! They raised loads of money for a great cause and thats all that matters.
