I'm enjoying it Mrs C. I just think of it as a drama with a few bits of humour here and there.
bits of it are ok but it can go a bit ott at times.

The first series was great (IMO). I think it must've changed writers ...
Is it supposed to be THAT funny?
Question Author
Well it's billed as a comedy drama, but the comedy seems to have dropped off ....
There are moments of pure laugh out loud humour, which are all the funnier for not being anticipated. For example, right at the end of this weeks episode, when Lilian took out her dentures
Question Author
True, mrs.o. Was there anything else that made you chuckle though?
Yes, quite a few things.
However, I have trouble remembering what I had for brekkie this morning, let alone what happened in a TV programme on Tuesday lol

I love the programme because I know so many people who live like that
Question Author
The only bits that immediately spring to mind for me ... the girl that flung herself from the balcony and Lillian at the end.
Ah yes, the suicide had me chortling
Question Author
Oops, sorry ... that didn't quite read right. There was nothing funny about the girl flinging herself from the balcony.
I must have a warped mind Mrs C cos I found it funny
Question Author
I guess humour is a very individual thing, mrs.o.
True.
I think what I found funny was that Lilian was still babbling away through the door as she jumped......not the actual jump itself
I'm slowly weening myself off the series. Wasn't as good
I miss Paddy Mcquire being in it - I found him strangly attractive (:0 (
I miss Lip, Ian and Debbie.
Question Author
I miss Fiona and Steve. And Veronica and Kevin.
I agree with you Mrs C -I dont rate it at all.Its too surreal for my liking.
James McCavoy and Anne-Marie Duff have become bigger than the show.
