I love the Graham Norton Show - even if some of the guests are dull, he always manages to get a laugh.

Miriam Margolyes, maybe a good actress but this could be a matter of opinion.

What I did find her to be was both disgusting and repulsive.

She made a grand entrance on Friday's show by announcing to all and sundry that she had f*rted, then bragged that she was the first to use the other 'F' word when she appeared on Universary Challenge as a student.

Further into the show she said that before she became a lesbian, while still a student she was cycling home when she stopped at the traffic lights and noticed there was an American soldier at her side in a car, she said she told him that if he followed her home she would give him a 'bl0w job'

After she had preformed this task the American asked if he could come again with his friends? She said she wasn't all bad was she, because at least she did not go the whole way?

She even shocked Graham's other guests, Stanley Tucci, the actor and comedian Jimmy Carr. Stanley Tucci made a comic attempt to walk off the show, I bet he has never heard anything like that on American TV.

All in all a disgusting performance and not in the least funny.

MM is also known as "Queen of the Voice-over" - she does so many including countless adverts which pays for FIVE houses around the world (from a recent article I read).
AOG's comments show just how subjective humour can be.
