Does Ambridge exist in another, parallel universe ?

Linda is running around the village, berating everybody for not watering the baskets.

Now, don't get me wrong....I enjoy Linda's tirades as much as the next man.

But if it isn't raining in Borsetshire, then it must be the only bloody place in the UK where its dry !

I think it's been dry since they burned Susan Horrobin in the Wicker Man fertility ritual ... don't tell me you missed that episode ?

Now that is episode that I would love to listen to !

Oh Neil ......
Don't say that too loud, Dave, you might give Mrs O ideas for her soap opera
Oh gawd.
I am reliably informed that hanging baskets do not get enough water from heavenly rain showers. They have to be watered in addition to getting deluged from the sky, apparently. Reason is, a basket does not retain enough water to keep its flowers in good nick. It runs out of the bottom, whereas plants in the ground get their (plentiful supply of) water from what the soil retains.
I would have thought the Vicar's daughter's tears would have been enough to water the whole of Borsetshire. Has she stopped whining yet?

I am getting really fed up with some over dramatic and really rather tedious storylines.
Well said Bookbinder! Who is the most annoying, Lady Linda or Smug Jennifer?
Some story lines do get stretched out to a tedious degree, and Amy's whining and weeping is one of them. I think she's finally realised that her "love" for Carl is unrequited, so that's the end of that. However, we haven't heard the end of David's threatening phone calls yet. Has somebody been feeding the villains info about where his children were and what Pip's phone number is? Who knows? Who cares?
Thanks Bookbinder, I will be glad to see an end to the David intimidation storyline as that is getting on my nerves too.

I think it might be time to track down an old colleague who's sister-in-law is Vanessa Whitburn......
^^^^ Grr, 'whose'
