I'll try not to spoil it too much but I cannot see a happy ending for Helen
Also Rex (or Toby) 's infatuation is getting a little tedious

I have a feeling that Pip's long-distance relationship with Matthew won't last, and so does Rex, so I don't blame him for hanging around like an eager puppy, just on the off chance !

I too can't see much light at the end of the tunnel for Helen. Her only defence is to make a case that she was protecting Henwee from Rob, and if she opens up and tells her brief all the other times when she has felt threatened, it will help her a lot.

I'm not really sure I understand why she won't see her family...its sounds a bit daft to me, and I hope the writers are not trying to over-egg this already too rich pudding.

No, I don't blame Rex either. Helen is still in deep shock, but desperately needs to open up, tell the truth and stop blaming herself. You do blame yourself - don't know why.

I really don't know why the family court came down so hard against Pat and Tony, when Henwee has such a happy, long-term relationship there. We're heading for a miscarriage of justice :(

Funny - I thought about his pay from the shop only the other day. He didn't give his job up. He was jobless! Grrrrr! Blood is boiling. Still, a step in the right direction for Helen.

I guess Helen will be entitled to sick pay as well and maternity pay/leave. The shop will be going bust. Money will be going into their joint account from which Rob will help himself.

I missed a couple of episodes but I think we need to get Charlie and the Pole back, they both have dirt on St Rob, also his ex can confirm a lot about his character. What happened to the doc's veiled references to him, he hinted at past knowledge.

That's just ridiculous. Surely the police must have told Pat the consequences of the interview. I was talking to two ladies yesterday and the conversation led to The Archers. They both said they don't listen to the programme any more because of the storyline. I'm beginning to feel the same. Sometimes I just run out of patience and I'm heading that way now.

The scriptwriters need to be more careful here. This storyline has already bordered on the unrealistic, and its getting worse.

I listened to the omnibus and must admit several bits moved me to tears but agree with hellywelly, in fact it started a discussion at home. No way in reality would what Pat said to the police mean she was told she was now a witness for the prosecution and could not see Helen or Henry. Ridiculous and yes no progress until September??
