Another New Archers Thread !
Is it really that long since I started the last one ?
I see Lillian has been caught out at last ! Did she really think she was going to get away with it for ever ?
Stupid woman, especially when Justine took the odious Rob on for his new manager. By the way, I still don't understand that bit....wealthy business tycoons like him don't get to where they are by not being able to recognise a bad egg when they see one.
Lillian never learns, does she ?

Rob isn't in the cast list for this week, so it will be even quieter. After all the drama I must confess to being rather bored with it at the moment. Toby winds me up, as does Susan. Must be patient I suppose.
I can remember when Brian tried it on with Betty, the now dead wife of Mike Tucker. Mike would have torn Brian's testicles off with one hand if he had ever found out !
By the way, where is Mike and Vicky ? .....I miss her Brummie vulgarity so much !
I would have loved to listen to a scene between her and Rob !

I don't know if this is accessible. It's Timothy Watson talking about playing Rob. I'm sure there is someone clever out there who can work out how to do it properly!

Hoppy....the difficulty with Justin sacking Rob is that he knows where the bodies are buried....ie, he knows about the affair with Lillian, and Justin has no intention of disrupting his marriage to Miranda !
But I still maintain that the scriptwriters have been a bit amiss here. Justin didn't get to where he is by not recognising what Rob really is.
He should never have offered him the job in the first place, as he will soon come to realise when Rob continues to get up the nose of everybody for miles around.
Anyway, who would employ someone with all that baggage ?

Talking of baggage, I bought a few Archers books at a Christmas Fair on Saturday, the backstory starting in WW1, and currently it's up to Elizabeth and Robin Fairbrother which considering the storyline now is interesting. I've also found out quite a lot about Jennifer, arrested for a bit of twockie! The WI needs to read it.
