I have always loved the radio - Dick Barton then The Archers at 6.45 I think. Kenneth Horne was wonderful wasn't he Mikey. We didn't know they were speaking Polari in those days. I fondly remember Ballet Shoes on Children's Hour, I could go on, and on, and on.... I don't listen to Radio 4 extra and don't know why. Must look into that, thanks gness. Happy New Year to you all.
Helly....I'm afraid I fell asleep before the program started. Judging by the first episode last week, I doubt that I will use the iplayer to catch up.
By the way, that copy of the "Night of the Triffids" arrived from ebay last week. I thought I would get the original book from the Library and read that again, before reading Simon Clark's sequel.
I shall report back !
