Good morning. Was hot all night - woodburner!! We have to let it die down at about 8.30pm and I shut the bedroom door and opened the window slightly - but was still too warm. I dreamed I was on holiday in the Med. somewhere - I wish!!!

Going to Morrisons - exciting - and then have to do some ppw.for Mr LL which I knew I would end up doing in the end because he hates ppw.

Have you never eaten Brussel tops Neti. They are just what they say, the tops of the brussel sprouts sticks and they are lovely.

Samphire is very, very popular and grown on the Norfolk coast in profusion. (It grows in other areas too but Norfolk is famous for it.)

Glad you had such a lovely day Shaney in brilliant sunshine. Sounds lovely.

I have been watching the new Above Suspicion drama on Monday nights and am hooked. I don't know why but I can't take my eyes of the lead actor, Ciaran Hinds. He is certainly not pretty to look like, but what a masculine hunk. Robert Mitchum type!! Calm down Lottie.

Used to eat loads of them at one time, Mum loved them. I would be surprised if you had never had them Neti. They weren't fed to cattle years ago, people ate them - and they seem to have made a comeback. Delicious.

No lottie, we have never eqten anything like that, most veg came from dad's allottment and garden and I don't remember seeing anything like those. and I didn't eat much anyway usually bread!

Oh jude, I cannot use ariel as it set's hija's allegy off something rotten, she gets all bunged up and itchy!

Yes Above Suspicion is good Lofty .I've watched it before .I think this is the fourth series .From the books by Lynda La Plante .Ciarán Hinds is dishy .

yes I bought all three. I love to hold a book and don't think I will ever stop buying books (just found a rare one about weimaraners on Abe, have been looking for an affordable copy for years and got a first edition for 20 quid!)
I have had a really slow to go day today. but i did finish my scarf.
